Advocates Abhinav Chandrachud and Prasanna Bhangale, representing Chakraborty, informed the court on Friday that although the CBI had lodged an FIR, no chargesheet had been filed, the actor had never been called for questioning, and the investigation had not moved further in the previous three years.

They said that Chakraborty was asking for a temporary suspension of the LOC because he needed to spend a few days in Dubai for a brand endorsement. The permission was granted after 2 January.
