Mahindra is going to launch its new updated XUV400 Electric in the Indian market very soon. Mahindra is currently the largest SUV manufacturer in the Indian market, their vehicles are mostly in demand. Mahindra is the fourth-biggest manufacturer in the Indian market in addition to this.

The new price list for the Toyota Innova Crysta shows price increases of up to Rs 25,000. The explosive interior of the facelifted Hyundai Creta was leaked before launch! The company is going to operate the XUV400 with new features to further strengthen its position in the electric sector, a video of which has now surfaced.

It gets a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a larger digital driver display and redesigned automatic climate control along with AC vents. Apart from this, the new XUV400 Electric also gets wireless charging, push button start stop engine, height adjustable driver seat, an updated steering wheel, a newly designed dashboard layout with a central console, and a new premium theme. However, some features are looking old.

  1. Infotainment System 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a large digital driver display redesigned automatic climate control with AC vents.
  2. Additional Features Wireless charging, push-button start-stop engine, height-adjustable driver seat, updated steering wheel, new dashboard layout with a central console, and a new premium theme.
  3. Battery and Range Two battery options – 34.5 kWh pack with a claimed range of 375 km and a larger 39.4 kWh pack with a claimed range of 456 km. Moreover, both packs offer 150 bhp or 310 Nm power also with an electric motor.
  4. Charging a 50 kW DC fast charger takes 50 minutes for 0-80% charge, a 7.2 kW AC charger takes 6.5 hours, and a 3.3 kW home charger takes 13 hours for a full charge.
  5. Safety Features 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a large digital driver display redesigned automatic climate control with AC vents.
  6. Connectivity & Comfort Over 60 connected car features, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVM, single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, cruise control, special AC vents for rear passengers, and a USB charging socket.
  7. Price in India Currently priced between 15.99 lakhs to 19.39 lakhs INR (ex-showroom Delhi). The price for the new features-loaded variant is expected to be at a premium.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Battery and Range

There have been no changes to the battery pack of the Mahindra XUV400, it is powered with its current battery option. It gets a 34.5 kWh battery pack that has a claimed range of 375 km, and a larger 39.4 kWh battery pack that has a claimed range of 456 km. Both the battery packs make 150 bhp and 310 Nm of power together with the electric motor.

With a 50kW DC fast charger, it takes 50 minutes to charge the XUV400 Electric, which takes the battery from 0% to 80%. Apart from this, there is a 7.2 kilowatt AC charger which charges the battery in 6.5 hours. And a 3.3kWh home charge that fully charges the battery in 13 hours.

It gets over 60 connected car technologies, electrically adjustable and folding ORVMs, a single pane sunroof, ambient lighting, cruise control, a special event for rear passengers, and a USB charging socket. As a safety feature, it has been provided with six airbags, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, hill haul assist, hill descent control, traction control, and sensors with a rear parking camera.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Price in India

Currently, the price of XUV400 in the Indian market ranges from Rs 15.99 lakh to Rs 19.39 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. On the other hand, the variant with all of its new features will cost more than this. In the upcoming months, it is anticipated to be introduced to the Indian market.
