ED (Enforcement Directorate) called Arvind Kejriwal for questioning in the liquor scam, it is feared that he might also be arrested like Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh.

BJP: BJP has alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is now going back on his words. Delhi BJP Vice President Vishnu Mittal told Amar Ujala that earlier Arvind Kejriwal used to say that after allegations are made against a leader, he should resign. He should face an investigation and assume his post after being proven innocent. But today when the time has come for him to go to jail himself, he has already started making efforts so that he does not have to resign. Vishnu Mittal said that even before this, Kejriwal’s double character had come to light.

He was not accepting the resignation of his former health minister Satyendar Jain, who was in jail in another scam. But ultimately under public pressure, he had to resign from Satyendar Jain after a year. He said that Arvind Kejriwal is accused not only in the liquor scam but also in the scam in the construction of his residence. If he has even a little political integrity left, he should immediately resign from his post.

Bail Plea

The bail plea of former Deputy Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Excise Policy case was heard in the Supreme Court today (Monday, October 16). During this, the lawyers of central agency CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) told the court that consideration is being given to making Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) an accused.

Also, the court reacted to a query on 4 October that ED handles all the cases. According to BJP Parwakta, SV Raju (lawyer of ED) published section 70 under the PMLA act and accused Aam Aadmi Party of roping all the cases. ED condemned that some people of the Aam Aadmi Party are corrupt.

Arvind Kejriwal is allegedly now retracting his statements, according to the BJP. Vishnu Mittal, the vice president of the Delhi BJP, informed Amar Ujala that Arvind Kejriwal had previously stated that a leader should step down if accusations are made against him. However, he has already begun taking steps to avoid having to resign when the time comes for him to go to jail. Vishnu Mittal stated that Kejriwal’s dual nature was revealed even before this.
